About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Company Description FLOWer Lab, part of the Centre for Functional Ecology at the University of Coimbra, focuses on plant ecology, evolution, agro-environment, and pollination services. The team studies plant diversification and sympatric speciation driven by polyploidization, as well as plant–pollinator interactions that shape current plant diversity patterns. In applied science, FLOWer Lab explores pollination as a critical ecosystem service for sustainable agroecosystems. The group is actively engaged in biodiversity conservation through research in reproductive biology, ecology, and both in situ and ex situ conservation of endangered species. FLOWer Lab also works to recognize and enhance the value of endogenous genetic resources.
