Role Description The Community Liaison Officer is a full-time, on-site role based at Apollo Laser Eye Hospital in Moradabad. This position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with local communities, NGOs, schools, and other stakeholders to increase awareness of eye health and hospital services. Day-to-day activities include planning and organizing outreach events, coordinating eye health education sessions, and supporting screening camps and community-based initiatives. The role involves communicating clearly with patients and community partners, gathering feedback on services, and sharing insights with hospital leadership to improve programs. The Community Liaison Officer will also assist in training community volunteers or support staff, preparing basic reports, and ensuring that all engagement activities reflect the hospital’s values of equity, respect, and inclusion.

Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to interact effectively with patients, families, and community partners.
Candidates should possess Community Engagement and Stakeholder Engagement skills to plan, implement, and sustain outreach initiatives and partnerships.
Candidates should possess Training skills to support basic health education sessions, orientations, and workshops for community groups or volunteers.
Candidates should ideally have experience in community health, social work, public health, or related fields; familiarity with eye care or healthcare settings is an advantage.
Candidates should demonstrate cultural sensitivity, the ability to work on-site in Moradabad as well as at Hasanpur Branch, basic report-writing skills, and proficiency in local languages and English.
A relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public health, communications, or a related discipline is preferred.
