Role Description The College Recruiter (Contract, Remote) helps prospective students explore suitable colleges and academic programs, serving as a primary point of contact throughout the recruitment process. On a day-to-day basis, the recruiter conducts virtual consultations, responds to inquiries, and provides guidance on admission requirements, application timelines, and documentation. The role includes organizing and hosting online information sessions, webinars, and workshops, as well as maintaining accurate records of student interactions and progress in internal systems. The recruiter builds and nurtures relationships with partner institutions, shares program updates with students, and collaborates with team members to improve recruitment strategies and student outreach.
Qualifications
Ability to conduct structured student consultations, assess educational goals, and recommend suitable colleges or programs.
Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, active listening, and professional email and video call etiquette.
Experience using online tools such as CRM systems, spreadsheets, and virtual meeting platforms to manage student data and appointments.
Skills in organizing virtual events (webinars, Q&A sessions, information sessions) and coordinating logistics with students and institutions.
Capacity to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and meet deadlines for application cycles.
Knowledge of college admissions processes, scholarship opportunities, and international or domestic education pathways is highly beneficial.
Prior experience in student advising, recruitment, counseling, or education consultancy is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
