Role Description The CTO-cum-Co Founder will lead the technical vision, architecture, and execution of GreenLedger’s ESG data engine, working as an equity-only, part-time remote partner. This role includes overseeing the design and development of core platform components, data pipelines, integrations with industrial systems, and security frameworks aligned with audit and compliance standards. The individual will collaborate closely with the founding team to define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and ensure the technology stack supports scalable growth across multiple geographies and industrial segments. Day-to-day responsibilities involve guiding engineering practices, reviewing key designs and code, establishing development processes, and mentoring a growing technical team or vendor partners. The role also includes contributing to technical sales conversations, investor discussions, and long-term IT strategy to position GreenLedger as the default ESG data infrastructure for heavy manufacturing.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Software Development and Product Development, with experience building and scaling data platforms or SaaS products.
Proficiency in Architecture and IT Strategy, including designing secure, resilient, and compliant systems for enterprise or industrial clients.
Demonstrated Project Management capabilities, including roadmap planning, stakeholder coordination, and delivery within startup or high-growth environments.
Experience with cloud infrastructure, data engineering, APIs, and integrations with industrial or ERP systems is highly beneficial.
Familiarity with ESG, sustainability reporting, or regulatory technology (RegTech) is an advantage; ability to quickly understand BRSR and emissions reporting requirements.
Comfort working in an equity-based, part-time founder role, with a long-term commitment to building and scaling the company remotely.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively with non-technical stakeholders such as CFOs and sustainability heads.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in senior technical leadership.
