Position Summary
We are seeking ambitious individuals who thrive on technical challenges and enjoy working with unconventional technology stacks. You'll play a key role in turning innovative concepts into robust, real-world software solutions that deliver meaningful value.
As a Software Developer at ALXICORN, you'll work hands-on with backend systems, blockchain applications, and intelligent document processing platforms. You'll design and build automation solutions across a variety of domains, leveraging computer vision and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies to solve complex business challenges. Working closely with engineers and researchers, you'll help transform innovative ideas into scalable, production-ready software that delivers reliable, high-quality solutions aligned with project requirements.
In this hybrid role, you will split your time between core backend, trading, and automation systems and building AI agents (role specific). You will design agents that plan, use tools, and complete multi-step tasks reliably and safely.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize backend services and automation scripts across Python, TypeScript, Golang, and Rust
Design and improve robotic process automation systems to streamline operational workflows
Design and build multi-step AI agents with tool/function calling, planning, memory, and error recovery
Develop, version, and maintain prompts, system instructions, and agent skills for each role
Build RAG pipelines (embeddings, vector databases, document ingestion) for company knowledge and JD/CV data.
Conduct technical research on document processing systems and provide reliable solutions for that
Build and maintain data collection systems, web scrapers, and API integrations that support real financial infrastructure
Contribute to exchange-related systems including market data feeds, trade tracking, and live analytics
Work on real-time, high-frequency trading systems where performance and precision are critical
Conduct deep technical research on blockchain technologies, exchange architectures, and APIs — research is a core part of this role, not an afterthought
Work with time-series databases and structured data to store, process, and analyze system outputs
Debug issues and drive improvements in performance, stability, and system reliability
Collaborate with engineers on system design, architecture decisions, and technical planning
Support blockchain and centralized exchange research, including proof-of-concept development
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions
Monitor logs and production environments to identify and resolve issues proactively
Maintain daily work logs, task updates, and KPI tracking using internal tools
Provide support to team members where required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong fundamentals in one or more of the following languages: Python, TypeScript, Golang, or Rust
Proven experience working with APIs, web-based systems, and third-party integrations
Solid understanding of data structures, object-oriented programming, and software design principles
Thrive for the developing robotic process automation based application
Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (any major provider or open-source model), including tool/function calling and structured outputs
Understanding of prompt engineering, context management, and RAG
Familiarity with vector databases ( pgvector, Qdrant, Pinecone)
Awareness of AI safety and data privacy, especially for sensitive data
Genuine interest in blockchain, cryptocurrency, financial systems.
Strong analytical thinking and the ability to break down and solve complex technical problems
Sound understanding of networking concepts including IP addressing, proxies, and routing
Strong understanding of database optimization and working with time-series or structured data
Sound understanding of event-driven architecture and asynchronous systems
Ability to produce clear technical documentation and communicate system designs effectively
Comfortable working in a remote, KPI-driven environment with a high degree of ownership
A collaborative team player who can also execute independently under pressure and tight deadlines
Highly motivated to learn continuously, absorb feedback, and grow within a fast-moving technical environment
Experience Level
Mid To Senior: 2–5 years
LLM/agent experience is a plus, but strong engineers willing to learn quickly are encouraged to apply.
Work Schedule
Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM BST (4:00 AM – 1:00 PM UTC)
Weekends: Saturday & Sunday off
