Role Description The Heating and Air Conditioning Engineer at AVI AirCon is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur. This role involves designing HVAC systems, preparing technical drawings, and selecting appropriate equipment for new installations and retrofit projects. Daily tasks include conducting site assessments, supervising installation and commissioning, and performing diagnostics on existing systems to identify issues and recommend solutions. The engineer will oversee maintenance and repair activities, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and collaborate with project managers, technicians, and clients to deliver efficient and cost-effective HVAC solutions. Responsibilities also include documenting work performed, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to continuous improvement of processes and service quality.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in HVAC Engineering and practical experience with HVAC systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
Proficiency in HVAC Design, including load calculations, equipment selection, and system layout.
Experience using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and modifying HVAC drawings and technical documentation.
Hands-on skills in Maintenance & Repair, including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions for HVAC equipment.
Relevant technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Knowledge of safety standards, energy efficiency principles, and local building codes related to HVAC installations.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and specifications, and to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
Willingness to work on-site in Jaipur, with flexibility to visit client locations and manage field-based tasks.
