About the Role
We’re looking for a highly motivated Crypto Research & Alpha Analyst Intern who lives and breathes crypto, stays ahead of emerging trends, and knows how to identify promising opportunities across the altcoin and memecoin markets.
This role goes beyond following crypto influencers or reposting trending coins. You’ll discover early-stage projects, conduct in-depth research, monitor on-chain and social activity, and build relationships with founders, teams, and influential members of the crypto ecosystem.
We’re looking for someone who understands blockchain fundamentals, is highly active on X (Twitter), and can turn raw information into actionable research and well-reasoned insights.
Key Responsibilities
• Early-Stage Project Discovery: Identify promising token launches, emerging altcoins, presales, and early-stage blockchain projects.
• Memecoin Research: Monitor newly launched memecoins, emerging narratives, liquidity, holder distribution, trading activity, and potential risks.
• Fundamental Analysis: Research whitepapers, roadmaps, tokenomics, token unlocks, vesting schedules, circulating supply, market capitalization, FDV, and team credibility.
• On-Chain Research: Track wallet activity, liquidity movements, holder concentration, smart money activity, and relevant blockchain signals.
• X (Twitter) Intelligence: Monitor influential crypto accounts, emerging narratives, community discussions, and early signals from credible sources.
• Networking & Outreach: Engage with founders, developers, community managers, KOLs, and other relevant people to gather insights and build relationships.
• Market Monitoring: Track trending sectors, ecosystem developments, exchange listings, partnerships, catalysts, and market sentiment.
• Research Reports: Prepare concise, evidence-backed research briefs covering opportunities, supporting data, catalysts, and potential risks.
• Continuous Monitoring: Maintain a structured watchlist and track developments after initial project discovery.
Requirements
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, altcoins, memecoins, DeFi, and token markets.
• Genuine interest in crypto, supported by research experience, personal market analysis, or a demonstrable track record of evaluating projects.
• Strong familiarity with X (Twitter), crypto communities, influential accounts, and emerging narratives.
• Ability to analyze tokenomics, liquidity, market capitalization, FDV, token distribution, vesting, and launch-related risks.
• Familiarity with tools such as Dexscreener, DEXTools, GeckoTerminal, CoinGecko, Etherscan, or comparable analytics platforms.
• Strong research, critical-thinking, communication, and information-verification skills.
• Comfortable with outreach, relationship-building, and working in a fast-moving market.
• Availability to commit at least 8 hours per day.
• Self-driven, consistent, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a performance-focused environment.
What We’re Looking For
We want someone who is genuinely passionate about crypto and actively follows the market, rather than someone who has only recently become interested because of a trending coin.
You should be curious enough to investigate unfamiliar projects, analytical enough to question the hype, and proactive enough to discover information before it becomes common knowledge.
You should be able to explain why a project deserves attention, what could invalidate the thesis, and which risks require further investigation.
