Role Description The Senior Structural Design Engineer in RCC & STEEL/PEB will lead structural analysis and design for buildings and industrial structures, including concrete and steel systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing detailed design calculations, preparing and reviewing drawings and models, coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role involves mentoring junior engineers, providing technical guidance to drafting teams, and participating in design reviews and value engineering. The engineer will also support site-related queries, address design modifications, and contribute to quality assurance in project deliverables. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode, with collaboration expected for projects in Calicut and Bangalore.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Structural Analysis and Structural Engineering skills, with experience in RCC, steel, and PEB design.
Candidates should possess solid Civil Engineering knowledge, including building codes, standards, and construction practices.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and AutoCAD for developing and reviewing structural drawings and details.
Candidates should possess the ability to interpret architectural and MEP drawings and integrate them into structural designs.
Candidates should possess strong problem-solving, project coordination, and communication skills for effective teamwork with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering, with several years of relevant design experience in RCC and steel structures.
Experience with structural design software (e.g., STAAD, ETABS, SAP2000 or similar) and familiarity with Indian Standards/IS codes is highly beneficial.
