Company Description Guyana Animation Network (GAN) Inc., founded in 2016, is a youth-focused nonprofit dedicated to expanding opportunities in animation and digital media across Guyana and the Caribbean. Guided by the vision “To lead, activate and contribute to change in Guyana’s Animation and Digital Media Industries,” GAN connects emerging digital creatives with training, mentorship, and industry exposure. Core initiatives include an Annual Digital Painting Summer Camp, Creating Creative Connections Master Classes, Animation Collaborations, and a Girls in ICT Interschools’ Initiative, all designed to inspire innovation and creativity. GAN also coordinates participation in international festivals, conferences, and events to support skills development, employment pathways, and global networking. The organisation has grown quickly, engaging dozens of members, volunteers, and corporate partners, and reaching nearly two hundred student beneficiaries.
Role Description The Crowdcast Event Manager is a temporary, remote role responsible for planning, hosting, and optimising virtual events on the Crowdcast platform for GAN’s programs and initiatives. This role includes setting up event pages, managing registrations, coordinating speakers and panelists, and overseeing live sessions to ensure smooth technical and audience experiences. The Crowdcast Event Manager will develop event run-of-show documents, manage live chat and Q&A, troubleshoot platform issues in real time, and support post-event tasks such as recordings, analytics, and feedback collection. The role also involves collaborating with program leads and communications team members to align event content with GAN’s mission, brand, and youth-focused audience. The individual in this role will work independently, attend online planning meetings, and maintain clear, timely communication with stakeholders across different time zones.
Specifically, we are looking for someone to partner with our Guyana Arts, Animation and Film Festival (GAAFF) 2026 as a reliable, tech-savvy Crowdcast Event Manager to support the delivery of our upcoming online festival, taking place October 23–25, 2026.
