Safety Compliance Specialist

Role Description The Safety Compliance Specialist is a part-time, remote role responsible for ensuring that Job Updates Daily’s job postings and related content adhere to relevant safety, legal, and regulatory standards. This role involves reviewing job listings and partner information for compliance, identifying potential risks or non-compliant content, and recommending corrective actions. The specialist will develop and maintain internal compliance guidelines, collaborate with content and operations teams to implement best practices, and document processes for regulatory and safety adherence. Day-to-day tasks include conducting compliance audits, monitoring changes in regulatory frameworks, preparing clear reports and summaries, and advising the team on safe and ethical job posting standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance to oversee and improve internal safety standards.
Candidates should possess solid Legal Compliance and Analytical Skills to evaluate job postings, interpret regulations, and identify potential risks.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to convey compliance requirements clearly to internal teams and external partners.
Relevant experience in occupational safety, HR compliance, risk management, or a related field is beneficial.
Familiarity with labor laws, data protection regulations, and online platform policies is an advantage.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple tasks, and maintain accurate documentation.
Preferred education: degree or certification in law, compliance, safety management, business administration, or a related discipline.
