Chief AI Transformation Officer

Role Description The Chief AI Transformation Officer is a full-time remote role responsible for defining and leading SpectusSoftware’s AI and automation strategy across products and operations. This role oversees the identification of opportunities to integrate AI into ecommerce, portfolio, betting, and crypto solutions, and partners with product, engineering, and business teams to design and implement AI-driven features. The Chief AI Transformation Officer will establish AI governance frameworks, set standards for data usage and model deployment, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and ethical guidelines. Daily responsibilities include evaluating AI tools and platforms, managing AI-related initiatives, guiding experimentation and proofs of concept, and tracking performance and ROI of AI projects. This role also involves mentoring teams on AI best practices, communicating strategic priorities to leadership, and representing the company’s AI vision to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strategic leadership skills in AI transformation, including experience defining AI roadmaps, aligning initiatives with business goals, and leading cross-functional change.
Technical expertise in AI, machine learning, and data science, with the ability to evaluate models, tools, and architectures used in web, ecommerce, and digital products.
Product and innovation skills, such as experience designing AI-enabled features, overseeing experimentation and pilots, and integrating AI into customer-facing applications.
Data and governance skills, including knowledge of data management, privacy, security, responsible AI practices, and regulatory considerations in multiple markets.
Business and communication skills, including stakeholder management, clear communication of complex technical topics, and the ability to influence senior leadership.
Proven experience in software or digital product companies; familiarity with ecommerce, betting, or crypto platforms is highly beneficial.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed environment, manage multiple initiatives, and collaborate across time zones and disciplines.
Advanced degree in computer science, data science, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in AI leadership roles.
