Chief AI Transformation Officer

Role Description The Chief AI Transformation Officer is a full-time remote leadership role responsible for driving AI strategy and implementation across SpectusSoftware’s products, services, and internal operations. This role oversees the identification of opportunities to embed AI and machine learning into ecommerce, portfolio, betting, and crypto solutions to enhance performance, personalization, and automation. The Officer will collaborate with product, engineering, data, and business teams to design AI roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and ensure ethical, secure, and compliant use of AI technologies. Daily responsibilities include evaluating emerging AI tools, guiding technical teams on architecture and integration, defining success metrics, and reporting on AI program outcomes to executive leadership. The role also involves building an AI-centric culture through training, change management, and clear communication of AI goals and benefits.
Qualifications
AI and data expertise: Strong knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, and automation, including experience deploying AI solutions in production environments.
Technical leadership: Background in software engineering, cloud platforms, and system architecture, preferably in web-based products such as ecommerce, fintech, or digital platforms.
Strategic and business skills: Proven ability to define AI strategy, manage complex initiatives, prioritize product and operational impact, and align technical work with business outcomes.
Change management and communication: Experience leading organizational transformation, enabling cross-functional collaboration, and communicating AI concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Governance and ethics: Understanding of AI governance, data privacy, security, risk management, and responsible AI practices.
Leadership experience: Prior senior or executive-level role leading multidisciplinary teams, with a track record of mentoring and developing talent.
Industry background: Experience in software development companies or digital product organizations; familiarity with ecommerce, betting, or crypto solutions is an advantage.
Education: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
