About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Global Operations to lead the company's global operating strategy, execution, and organizational effectiveness across regions and business functions.
The Vice President of Global Operations will be responsible for overseeing operational planning, business execution, process optimization, cross-functional coordination, and regional performance to ensure the organization operates efficiently and consistently as it grows.
Working closely with the CEO, COO, and executive leadership team, this leader will translate corporate strategy into actionable operating plans, strengthen operational infrastructure, establish performance standards, and develop scalable operating models that support sustainable growth across global markets.
Key ResponsibilitiesGlobal Operations Strategy
Develop and execute the company's global operations strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
Establish operational priorities, annual objectives, and long-term improvement plans.
Evaluate organizational capabilities and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and execution.
Develop consistent operating frameworks that support business growth across regions.
Align operational resources and investments with strategic business priorities.
Establish standards for operational governance, accountability, and performance management.
Operational Leadership & Execution
Oversee day-to-day operational activities across business units and geographic regions.
Translate executive priorities into operational plans, execution roadmaps, and measurable deliverables.
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to ensure projects and business objectives are delivered on schedule.
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve execution.
Establish clear ownership, responsibilities, and escalation procedures across operating teams.
Ensure operational activities remain aligned with company policies, business requirements, and organizational goals.
Global Business Operations
Develop operating models that support the company's international business activities.
Coordinate operational priorities across regional offices, business units, and functional departments.
Establish consistent processes and operating standards across geographic markets.
Evaluate regional operating performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Support the development of new markets, business locations, and operational capabilities.
Adapt global operating frameworks to local business requirements and market conditions.
Operational Planning & Resource Management
Lead operational planning and resource-allocation processes across the organization.
Develop operating budgets, capacity plans, and resource forecasts in partnership with Finance and functional leaders.
Evaluate staffing, infrastructure, and technology requirements to support business expansion.
Monitor resource utilization and identify opportunities to improve productivity.
Establish operating plans that balance cost efficiency, service quality, and business growth.
Support leadership decisions involving organizational structure, operational investment, and resource prioritization.
Performance Management & Reporting
Establish operational KPIs, performance standards, and reporting frameworks.
Monitor productivity, operating costs, execution timelines, service levels, and overall operational effectiveness.
Develop regular operating reviews to assess performance against established objectives.
Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans.
Provide executive leadership with clear reporting on operational risks, progress, and improvement opportunities.
Promote data-driven decision-making throughout the global operations organization.
Organizational Leadership
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global operations organization.
Recruit, mentor, and retain regional operations leaders and functional managers.
Establish clear reporting structures, management responsibilities, and performance expectations.
Develop leadership capabilities and succession plans across the operations function.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and disciplined execution.
Support organizational development as the company expands into new markets and business areas.
What You'll Bring
12+ years of experience in operations management, business operations, global operations, or a related field.
7+ years of leadership experience managing teams, departments, business units, or regional operations.
Proven experience developing and executing operational strategies across multiple functions or geographic markets.
Demonstrated ability to improve operational efficiency, standardize processes, and scale organizational capabilities.
Strong understanding of business planning, resource management, performance measurement, and operational governance.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing complex operational priorities.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Excellent communication, stakeholder-management, and executive leadership skills.
Ability to translate corporate strategy into practical operating plans and measurable results.
Demonstrated success building effective teams and developing future operational leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience managing global, multi-regional, or multi-business-unit operations.
Experience in technology, financial services, fintech, SaaS, manufacturing, consulting, or other complex operating environments.
Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems, CRM platforms, business intelligence tools, and operational analytics.
Experience leading organizational transformation, process improvement, or business integration initiatives.
Experience supporting international expansion, organizational scaling, or the implementation of global operating standards.
Experience working directly with executive leadership teams and presenting operational recommendations to senior decision-makers.
