Role Description The Managed Services CTO is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing the technical strategy, architecture, and delivery of managed technology services that support Wise Equity Solutions’ property investment platform and operations. This role involves directing software development initiatives, guiding product development, and ensuring that technology solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. The Managed Services CTO will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize and manage projects, optimize service performance, and continuously improve processes and tools. Daily activities include defining IT strategy, leading architecture decisions, mentoring technical teams, coordinating with vendors, and monitoring key performance indicators for managed services. The role also requires staying current with industry trends, implementing best practices in technology governance, and ensuring a high standard of reliability and customer experience.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Product Development, including experience delivering secure, scalable applications and platforms.
Candidates should possess robust IT Strategy and Architecture capabilities, with a track record of designing enterprise-grade systems and aligning technology roadmaps with business goals.
Candidates should possess proven Project Management skills, including managing complex initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving projects to completion within scope, budget, and timeline.
Candidates should possess leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, mentor technical professionals, and present complex concepts in clear, accessible terms.
Relevant qualifications include experience in managed services or SaaS environments, familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), and knowledge of security, compliance, and reliability best practices.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred; advanced degrees or equivalent practical experience are welcome.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote setting, showing strong self-management, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
