About IIM Udaipur Incubation Centre
The IIM Udaipur Incubation Centre is a Technology Business Incubator that fosters innovation and entrepreneurship. Supported by IIM Udaipur and the National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB) under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, the center is committed to nurturing entrepreneurship at the grass-root level.
With a strong focus enhancing economic empowerment and entrepreneurship at the grass-roots level, we are commencing projects aimed at improving the livelihood of rural and tribal communities in Rajasthan and scaling micro-enterprises. We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer to lead and monitor these projects, ensuring that all the deliverables and milestones are met in a timely manner.
Must-have to succeed in this role:
10 - 15 years' of executive experience (preferably in social-sector)
Experienced with strategically planning and project de-risking
Comfortable with navigating operational complexities and engaging key stakeholders
Experienced in leading large field teams in operationally heavy initiatives
Strong communication skills in Hindi and English Language
Comfortable with producing high-quality project-reports
Given that this in on-site role, candidates should be comfortable with relocation to Udaipur
Good-to-have:
Strong network with foundations, Not-for-Profits and social-sector companies
Imaginative approach towards creating new business opportunities for micro-enterprises
