Internal Medicine Hospitalist – Remote AI Training (Contract)

About the role:
Use your adult inpatient clinical expertise to help train next-generation AI systems, on a project focused on inpatient care and documentation standards. No prior AI experience is needed.
What you'll do
• Review medical records, including FHIR data and clinical notes
• Check whether clinical information and claims are supported by the record
• Review inpatient documentation: HPI, PMH, medication reconciliation, social history, assessments and plans
• Identify missing, incorrect or inconsistent information, including renal- and hepatic-adjusted dosing, medication interactions and age-appropriate clinical details
• Apply clear guidelines consistently and share feedback to improve AI models and data quality
Preferred qualifications
• MD or DO, board certified in Internal Medicine (or Internal Medicine with a Hospital Medicine focused practice designation)
• At least 5 years of hospitalist experience, with inpatient work within the last 2 years
• Strong understanding of inpatient documentation and hospital workflows: admission, daily progress notes, transitions of care and discharge
• Comfortable reviewing clinical notes and raw medical record data
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Experience with chart review, CDI, utilization review or medical coding/QA is a plus
Open to internal medicine specialists worldwide with strong inpatient experience and fluent English.
