1 OAK Studios is looking for a talented and reliable Remote Video Editor to join our production team. This position is responsible for editing high-quality video content for luxury real estate, commercial properties, social media, agent branding, interviews, events, and marketing campaigns.
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for pacing, music, color, storytelling, and clean professional edits. This role requires someone who can work independently, follow direction, meet deadlines, and maintain the elevated quality standards of 1 OAK Studios.
Main Responsibilities
Edit luxury real estate property videos, social media reels, agent videos, event videos, interviews, and commercial content.
Create clean, polished, and professional edits that match the 1 OAK Studios brand.
Follow provided creative direction, shot lists, editing notes, and client requests.
Select the best footage, music, pacing, transitions, and story flow for each project.
Sync and edit interview audio when needed.
Edit vertical videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
Perform basic color correction and color grading.
Add text, graphics, logos, lower thirds, music, and sound design when required.
Prepare videos in the correct format, resolution, and aspect ratio for delivery.
Make revisions based on internal feedback and client notes.
Organize project files properly and follow naming/file structure standards.
Meet deadlines consistently, especially for fast-turnaround real estate projects.
Communicate clearly with project managers and the production team.
Maintain consistency across multiple projects and client styles.
Required Skills
Strong video editing skills.
Experience with real estate, luxury, commercial, lifestyle, or social media content.
Strong understanding of pacing, music selection, story flow, and visual rhythm.
Ability to edit both horizontal and vertical formats.
Ability to follow brand guidelines and editing standards.
Basic color correction and grading knowledge.
Basic audio cleanup and mixing skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work remotely and stay organized.
Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to take feedback and revise quickly.
Reliable internet connection.
Ability to download/upload large files.
Preferred Software Experience
Adobe Premiere Pro.
Final Cut Pro.
After Effects.
CapCut.
Dropbox.
Slack or other team communication platforms.
Preferred Experience
Luxury real estate video editing.
Property tour editing.
Social media reel editing.
Interview-style video editing.
Commercial or hospitality video editing.
Color grading S-Log3 or similar flat profiles.
Editing with licensed music platforms such as Musicbed, Artlist, Epidemic Sound, or PremiumBeat.
Creating cinematic, clean, and polished edits.
Working with a remote production team.

Remote Position Requirements

Must have strong internet for downloading and uploading large files.
Must be responsive during working hours.
