Are you a marketplace, go-to-market, or early-stage fundraising leader ready to help scale a directory platform preparing for commercial launch? We're seeking a seasoned advisor to join a UK-based platform business's advisory board, providing expertise in converting listed organisations into paying customers, structuring an early-stage capital raise, and protecting mission-driven governance during a critical pre-launch stage.
What You’ll Do:
Advise on go-to-market strategy to convert listed organisations into claimed and paying partners
Support fundraising strategy and investor relationships for a first-time founder leading an early-stage capital raise
Guide governance decisions for a mission-led business balancing commercial growth with a constitutionally protected purpose
Help shape the transition from a live, populated platform toward validated commercial traction ahead of public launch
Who We’re Looking For:
Senior executive with experience taking a live marketplace or directory platform through commercialisation
Background in go-to-market strategy and B2B conversion, particularly turning listed or interested organisations into paying customers
Experience with early-stage fundraising, including angel investors and structured early-stage capital rounds
Familiarity with impact investing or mission-led business models is valued
Experience with governance and constitutional structures, particularly boards operating under mission-driven constraints, is a strong advantage
