Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements and accounts. This full-time on-site role, based at our processing unit in Jodhpur, involves preparing invoices, monitoring payables and receivables, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings. The role includes supporting budgeting and forecasting, preparing financial reports for management, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. The Accountant will collaborate closely with operations, procurement, and management teams to provide accurate cost and financial data, and will assist in audits and documentation for certifications and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
Prepare invoices, vouchers, and other accounting documents.
Assist with GST and TDS documentation and compliance.
Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
Support the accounts team with daily accounting activities.
Requirements:
B.Com or a relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and GST.
Knowledge of Tally and MS Excel is preferred.
Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, cost analysis, and forecasting to support business planning and operational decision-making.
Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar), MS Excel, and basic data analysis tools.
Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation, compliance, and audit processes, including documentation and adherence to relevant standards and regulations.
Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and present financial information clearly.
Relevant educational qualification such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA/CPA/intermediate level) are an advantage.
Prior experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food, or export-oriented businesses is beneficial, along with familiarity with inventory and cost accounting.
