Procurement Engineer (Finishes)

Job Description
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement procurement strategies for finishing materials, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to understand material specifications and project requirements.
• Source and evaluate suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of finishing materials to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Coordinate with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and proper storage of materials.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and quality of materials.
• Conduct quality checks and inspections of materials to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to material orders and deliveries.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive procurement documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the team in emergency situations by providing procurement solutions and ensuring minimal disruption to project progress.
