Job Description
Required Skills & Experience
Quality checks for completeness and visual correctness, including surface artifacts, geometry holes, and issues with surface normal vectors
Converts native CAD formats (CATIA, NX, etc.) into visualization-ready formats (FBX, USD, Alembic).
Fixes topology, normals, and geometry errors on scanned or converted vehicle meshes.
Validates geometry, UVs, and naming conventions before handoff.
CATIA (preferred) or NX skills required + experience in tessellation
Prepare and convert CATIA Class-A surface data for rendering and visualization pipelines.
Clean, optimize, and refine automotive 3D models to ensure high-quality visualization and rendering performance.
Act as the primary point of contact between the visualization team and the soft-part modeling team to ensure seamless data exchange and workflow coordination.
Perform UV mapping and ensure proper texture preparation for accurate, high-quality rendering.
Maintain 3D model quality, accuracy, and consistency throughout the visualization pipeline.
