About the role
Cuemath is a global math learning platform on a mission to make every child MathFit. Thousands of certified coaches teach children across the US, India, the Middle East, APAC and the UK, and the community is growing fast.
This role owns the coach community after certification: the results coaches deliver, the students they retain, the reviews they earn and the families they bring in through referral. It is a business ownership role on the supply side of a marketplace, judged on outcomes, not activity.
If you have run engagement calendars, newsletters and events but have never owned a retention or referral number for a supplier community, this role is not for you. If you have never read a cohort table and decided what to do next from it, this role is not for you.
What you will own
Referral growth: year-on-year growth in referral leads from the coach community, and the behaviours and programmes that drive it.
Student retention: 90-day and 180-day student retention by coach cohort, and the interventions behind it.
Student allocation: the rules by which new students are released to coaches, including how allocation is earned through proven retention and referral behaviour. You will make this case to Business and Product with data.
Class delivery compliance: the consequence framework for non-compliance, recovery programmes for coaches who slip, and repeat-offender handling across the community.
Coach quality on the ground: translating the quality measurement system into coach action, so every coach performs to standard in every class.
Engagement and communication: town halls with thousands of coaches, WhatsApp and email communication, recognition programmes and coach NPS.
A community management system: you will design and run the operating system for a coach community that is scaling several-fold, with the rhythms, segmentation and tooling that make it work without heroics.
The team: directors and managers across community operations, plus a field mentor network, report into this role.
What you bring
10 to 16 years of experience, with at least 4 years owning retention, cohort or LTV/CAC outcomes for a supplier community: teachers, drivers, delivery partners, sellers, hosts, agents or creators. Customer-side success alone does not qualify.
A system you built that still runs without you, with a before-and-after result.
A team of 20 or more, including field or mentor staff, led for at least two years.
Fluency with data without an analyst: you read cohort tables, compare segments, build your own Sheets views, and define baseline, target and measurement for every initiative. You understand unit economics (CAC, LTV, contribution and EBITDA impact) and can tie community programmes to them.
Education in your history: you have taught, trained tutors, run a tutor or faculty network, or run a school or centre cluster. You know what a class is and why a parent renews.
Excellent communication and presence: you can hold a webinar of a thousand or more coaches and be believed, write crisply, and handle hard conversations with warmth and authority.
AI-native working style: you use Claude Code daily for drafting, analysis and planning, and you are curious about what else it can do.
Backgrounds that tend to fit
Head or Director of Partner Success, Supply Operations, Partner or Teacher Quality, Educator Community or Faculty Excellence, at marketplaces, ed-tech teacher networks or large coaching and school networks. Title matters less than what you owned.
How we will select
A 30-minute conversation about the system you built and the result it delivered.
A working session on our internal dashboard: diagnose what you see and tell us what you would change first.
A short take-home: a one-page diagnosis, a 90-day plan with three metrics and baselines, and how you would shape the existing team to deliver it.
A panel with the leadership team.
Apply with a two-paragraph note: the supplier retention or referral number you owned, and what you did to move it.
