Profile: Senior Software Engineer / Lead Software Engineer
Location: Gurgaon (Hybrid)

About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Senior Software Engineer / Lead Software Engineer with strong skills across multiple tech stacks, covering architecture, full-stack development and DevOps. You will take ownership of the technical side of the projects you are assigned to, from design and development to deployment and support. Project allocation will be based on business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design system and solution architecture for projects
Build across frontend, backend, APIs and databases, using different tech stacks as the project needs
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and review code for quality
Set up and manage DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, monitoring and security
Turn business requirements into technical plans, estimates and delivery milestones
Recommend suitable technologies and make build-vs-buy decisions for each project
Design and integrate APIs and third-party services
Optimise application performance, scalability and cost
Troubleshoot production issues and improve reliability
Maintain technical documentation for architecture and deployments
Must have
5-8 years in software development, with experience in a lead role
Proficiency in multiple tech stacks, e.g. React, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS
Experience designing scalable systems and APIs (REST/GraphQL)
Solid SQL/NoSQL database knowledge, including schema design and query optimisation
Hands-on Docker, CI/CD and cloud (AWS/Azure)
Good understanding of application security, performance and testing practices
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to different projects
Clear communication with the team and stakeholders
Good to have
Kubernetes, Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools
Startup or fast-paced project experience
Exposure to AI/ML integration, data pipelines or mobile development
Experience with agile delivery
