Responsibilities:
- Test Planning and Execution: Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for Salesforce applications and web-based projects.
- Salesforce Testing: Conduct thorough testing of Salesforce customizations, configurations, and integrations. Validate the functionality of Salesforce objects, workflows, and user interfaces.
- Web Application Testing: Perform testing on web applications, including functionality, usability, performance, and security testing.
- Automation Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestComplete, or similar.
- Bug Tracking and Reporting: Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla. Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Performance Testing: Perform performance testing to identify bottlenecks and optimize application performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies, tools, and trends. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the testing process.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in QA testing, with a focus on Salesforce and web applications.
- Salesforce Knowledge: Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, objects, workflows, and integrations.
- Web Development: Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks.
- Automation Tools: Proficiency in using automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, or similar.
- Bug Tracking: Experience with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate test results and issues to stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Certifications: Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder) are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Performance Testing: Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
- Continuous Integration: Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
