Position Overview
Medella Softgel is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Microbiologist in its Microbiology Department. Candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical microbiology are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine microbiological testing and analysis as per approved procedures.
Conduct microbial limit testing and other relevant microbiological tests.
Carry out environmental monitoring and microbiological monitoring of manufacturing areas, wherever applicable.
Prepare and maintain microbiological media, cultures, and laboratory reagents.
Maintain accurate laboratory records, test reports, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and applicable quality standards.
Ensure proper handling, cleaning, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Follow established laboratory safety, hygiene, and waste-disposal procedures.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Microbiology or a relevant life science discipline.
Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
Practical knowledge of microbiological testing, laboratory procedures, and documentation.
Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
