Role Description The Application Support Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Nellore. This position is responsible for providing daily technical and application support for internal users and clients, including monitoring systems, responding to support tickets, and resolving application-related issues. The role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting software and configuration problems, documenting solutions, and escalating complex issues to development or infrastructure teams when necessary. The Application Support Engineer will collaborate closely with operations, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth functioning of applications critical to steel production and logistics. Additional responsibilities include maintaining support procedures, assisting with application updates or deployments, and communicating status and resolutions clearly to non-technical users.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Application Support and Technical Support skills for business-critical systems.
Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting and Analytical Skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues efficiently.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for clear interaction with technical teams and end users.
Relevant experience with enterprise applications, manufacturing or industrial systems, and basic database or networking knowledge is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work on-site in Nellore, manage multiple priorities, and respond promptly to incidents in a production environment.
