Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Research Analyst to conduct secondary research, online investigations, and information gathering to support research and business objectives.
The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of relevant experience in research and analysis, with knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), counterfeit detection, brand protection, IP infringement, or related domains.
The role will involve conducting online investigations, analysing information from multiple sources, identifying relevant findings, maintaining accurate research records, and preparing structured reports. Candidates with hands-on research and domain-specific experience will be preferred over those whose experience is primarily limited to administration or data entry.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Information Gathering
Conduct secondary research using online sources, databases, websites, and other relevant resources.
Gather, verify, and organise information from multiple sources.
Conduct online investigations to identify relevant data, patterns, and findings.
Research companies, brands, products, and other entities as required.
Validate information for accuracy, relevance, and completeness.
Maintain organised records of research activities and findings.
IPR, Brand Protection & Counterfeit Research
Conduct research related to Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), brand protection, and IP infringement.
Assist in identifying potentially counterfeit products, unauthorised sellers, and suspected trademark infringements.
Research online marketplaces, websites, and digital platforms to identify potential brand misuse.
Gather evidence and supporting information related to suspected infringement cases.
Assist in documenting findings related to counterfeit detection and brand protection.
Stay updated on relevant developments in intellectual property and online infringement practices.
Data Analysis & Verification
Analyse collected information to identify trends, inconsistencies, and relevant insights.
Cross-check information across multiple sources to ensure reliability.
Identify discrepancies and flag findings requiring further investigation.
Organise research data in a structured and accessible format.
Maintain accuracy and consistency throughout the research process.
Report Preparation & Documentation
Prepare detailed research reports based on investigation findings.
Summarise key findings, observations, and supporting evidence.
Maintain proper documentation of research activities and source references.
Present information clearly and logically for internal review.
Ensure reports are accurate, complete, and submitted within stipulated timelines.
Research Coordination & Process Improvement
Coordinate with internal teams to understand research requirements and priorities.
Manage multiple research assignments while meeting deadlines.
Follow established research methodologies and documentation standards.
Maintain confidentiality of research information and investigation findings.
Identify opportunities to improve research efficiency, accuracy, and reporting processes.

Candidate Requirements
1-3 years of relevant experience in research and analysis.
Hands-on experience in secondary research, online investigations, and information gathering.
Knowledge of IPR, counterfeit detection, brand protection, IP infringement, or related domains is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience gathering and verifying information from multiple online sources.
Ability to analyse information and identify relevant findings.
Experience preparing research reports and maintaining documentation.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in using internet research tools, search engines, and MS Office applications.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Good written communication and report-writing skills.

Candidates with practical research and relevant domain experience will be preferred over candidates whose profiles focus primarily on administration or data entry.
Willingness to work from the office at Noida, Sector 16.
