We are looking for a Design Verification Engineer to develop verification environments and ensure the functional correctness and reliability of digital hardware designs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop verification strategies based on design specifications.
• Create testbenches for RTL/IP blocks and complete digital systems.
• Develop directed and randomized test scenarios.
• Write simulation models, test cases, checkers, and monitors.
• Analyze simulation results and debug functional failures.
• Perform functional and corner-case verification.
• Verify interfaces, FIFOs, memories, datapaths, FSMs, and control logic.
• Work closely with RTL designers to identify and resolve design issues.
• Maintain verification documentation and test plans.
• Perform regression testing and track verification status.
• Analyze code and functional coverage where applicable.
• Support FPGA prototype validation and hardware debugging when required.
Required Skills:
• Strong understanding of Digital Logic and Computer Architecture.
• Good knowledge of Verilog/ SystemVerilog.
• Directed testbench development in Verilog and system Verilog.
• Testbench development using UVM.
• Experience in RTL simulation and testbench development.
• Understanding of testbench architecture and verification methodologies.
• Ability to debug waveform-level failures.
• Knowledge of assertions and coverage concepts is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have:
• Experience with SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA).
• Exposure to UVM or other structured verification methodologies.
• Experience with simulators such as QuestaSim/ModelSim, Xcelium, VCS, or Verilator.
• Knowledge of AXI, APB, AHB, SPI, I2C, UART, and memory interfaces.
• Understanding of CDC and reset-domain verification.
• Experience with FPGA-based verification.
• Python or scripting knowledge for verification automation.
• Exposure to ASIC verification flow.
Education:
• B.Tech / M.Tech / M.E. in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, VLSI, Embedded Systems, or a related discipline.
