Role Description The Junior Test Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruppur. This role involves executing test cases for software and systems used in store operations, inventory, and internal processes. The Junior Test Engineer will perform functional testing, document test results, report defects, and collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues. Daily tasks include preparing test data, reviewing requirements, validating fixes, and supporting regression and integration testing. The role also involves maintaining testing documentation, following established quality standards, and contributing to process improvements in the testing lifecycle.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess core testing skills, including Testing and Functional Testing.
Candidates should possess test engineering capabilities, including Test Engineering and Test Execution.
Candidates should possess test design skills, including creating, reviewing, and maintaining Test Cases.
Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Basic understanding of software development lifecycles and quality assurance methodologies.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
