Private Events Sales Manager

The Opportunity
You will take ownership of the private events sales journey, from identifying and developing new business opportunities to pitching bespoke experiences, converting enquiries, managing client relationships and ensuring seamless event execution.
Working closely with the General Manager, House Manager, Head of F&B, Membership and operational teams, you will play a key role in growing revenue, strengthening Soho House’s market presence and delivering experiences that reflect our distinctive brand, culture and values.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Drive Commercial Growth: Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities across corporate events, private celebrations, social gatherings, brand activations, group room sales and bespoke experiences.
Build Powerful Relationships: Cultivate a strong network of corporate clients, event agencies, media houses, brands, sponsors and industry partners across Mumbai.
Curate Exceptional Experiences: Develop creative, tailored event proposals that showcase our spaces, services and distinctive Soho House offering.
Own the Sales Journey: Manage enquiries, client meetings, site inspections, proposals, contracts, bookings, event documentation and post-event follow-ups.
Maximise Revenue & Profitability: Work towards agreed sales targets, identify opportunities for repeat business and ensure commercial discipline across pricing, costs and event delivery.
Deliver Seamless Events: Partner with F&B, Kitchen, Engineering, AV/IT and other operational teams to ensure every event is meticulously planned and executed.
Strengthen Market Presence: Stay connected with Mumbai’s corporate, cultural, social and creative communities, identifying new opportunities through industry events, partnerships and innovative promotional initiatives.
Maintain Sales Excellence: Keep the event pipeline, booking calendar, client database, contracts and weekly reports accurate and up to date using Tripleseat and other relevant tools.
Represent the Soho House Experience: Build trusted client relationships through exceptional service, discretion, attention to detail and a deep understanding of our brand and values.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in hospitality sales, private events, catering sales, banqueting or premium lifestyle hospitality.
A strong commercial mindset with a track record of generating leads, converting business and achieving sales targets.
An established network across Mumbai’s corporate, events, entertainment, media or luxury lifestyle sectors.
Excellent client relationship management, negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
A creative approach to designing bespoke events and identifying new revenue opportunities.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Tripleseat or similar event management and CRM platforms would be an advantage.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays in line with the events calendar.
