ROLE OVERVIEW
As an Interior Designer at Trove, you will create detailed mood boards and spatial concepts for clients across key home areas — bathrooms, Pooja rooms, living rooms, and beyond — using Trove’s existing premium product line. You will leverage AI design tools to accelerate concept creation and deliver sharper, more inspiring client presentations. You will also be responsible for setting up and maintaining compelling in-store displays that inspire clients the moment they walk in. This is a creative, client-facing role with direct reporting to the CEO.
Role Description
1. Mood Board Creation
Design detailed, visually compelling mood boards for home areas including bathrooms, Pooja rooms, living rooms, and display setups.
Curate tile selections, textures, color palettes, and material combinations from Trove’s product range to build cohesive design narratives.
Ensure every mood board reflects the client’s lifestyle, taste, and the premium quality Trove stands for.
2. Concept Development Using Trove’s Product Line
Develop complete design concepts for specific spaces — bathrooms, Pooja rooms, and living rooms — using only Trove’s existing product catalogue.
Translate product features (finish, size, texture, pattern) into spatial concepts that are practical, aesthetic, and client-ready.
Prepare presentation-ready concept layouts with product callouts, material notes, and visual references.
3. Client Interaction & Concept Presentation
Walk clients through mood boards and design concepts in the showroom — explaining product choices, spatial logic, and design intent clearly and confidently.
Understand client requirements through focused conversations and adapt concepts to match their brief, budget, and style preferences.
Build trust by positioning yourself as a design partner, not just a product guide — helping clients visualise their space before they commit.
4. Showroom Display Setup
Plan and execute in-store display setups that showcase Trove’s products in aspirational, well-composed arrangements.
Refresh and update displays periodically to reflect seasonal themes, new arrivals, and key product stories.
Ensure the showroom always presents a premium, curated aesthetic that reflects the Trove brand.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in interior design — showroom, residential, or hospitality preferred.
Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Photoshop. Familiarity with other design tools is a plus.
Strong eye for colour, texture, proportion, and spatial composition.
Confident communicator — able to present and defend design ideas to clients with ease.
AI-enabled mindset — actively uses AI tools to speed up concept creation, mood boarding, and client presentations.
Prior experience working with tile, stone, or surface material products is an advantage.
Portfolio of completed mood boards, concepts, or space designs is mandatory.
