Senior SAP Consultant

**This is a full time, contractual role for 6 months, remote with the possibilities of extension**.
Job Title: Senior SAP FICO Consultant – COGS Solution Design
Location – Remote
Key Responsibilities:
· 10+ years of SAP FICO experience with strong expertise in S/4HANA Finance and Controlling.
· Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) solutions in SAP.
· Define COGS accounting flows across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Manufacturing processes.
· Design Product Costing, Cost Component Structures, and Material Ledger solutions.
· Configure and optimize inventory valuation, standard costing, actual costing, and variance analysis.
· Drive integration between FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, and COPA modules.
· Design account determination logic for inventory, consumption, WIP, and COGS postings.
· Conduct business workshops and translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
· Prepare Solution Design Documents (SDD) functional specifications, and configuration documents.
· Analyse financial impacts and recommend best practices for margin and profitability reporting.
· Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and corporate accounting standards.
· Strong knowledge of Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Material Ledger, and Margin Analysis preferred.
· Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and solution leadership skills are essential.
