Plant / Production Manager

Role Description The Plant / Production Manager at Mind-X is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing production planning, workflow, and quality standards across assigned operations. This role coordinates schedules, resources, and timelines to ensure products and deliverables meet performance, safety, and quality requirements. The Plant / Production Manager monitors operational data, identifies process bottlenecks, and implements improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. They collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to align production activities with organizational goals and customer expectations. The role also includes documentation of procedures, reporting key performance metrics, and supporting compliance with relevant policies and guidelines.
Qualifications
Strong production and operations management skills, including planning, scheduling, and workflow coordination.
Experience with process improvement, quality control, and basic lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability to analyze data, interpret performance reports, and make informed decisions to optimize plant or production activities.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with remote teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Comfort with digital tools and software for remote coordination, reporting, and documentation of production processes.
Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a part-time capacity.
Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or operations management is highly beneficial.
Relevant education in engineering, operations management, industrial management, or a related field is an advantage.
