We are looking for a Chef de Partie, Bakery to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute, learn and grow while helping shape the experiences and impact we create across Costa Navarino.
In this position, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting a variety of breads, viennoiseries and bakery products, ensuring high quality and consistency. Working closely with the Chief Baker, you will combine creativity and technical expertise while maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene, safety and HACCP compliance.
Responsibilities
Ensure the cleanliness, readiness and proper operation of equipment and work areas prior to production, in line with health and safety standards.
Oversee the quality and availability of ingredients, materials and stock required for daily bakery production, supporting efficient and cost-conscious operations.
Coordinate the preparation, shaping, filling and baking of breads and bakery products, ensuring consistent quality across batches.
Follow all kitchen policies, procedures and service standards while completing assigned tasks efficiently and within required timeframes.
Maintain clear and effective communication with colleagues and supervisors to support smooth daily operations.
Contribute to additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Pastry Chef or other members of management.
Ensure full compliance with Food Safety and HACCP standards, including DIVERSEY and other applicable procedures.
Requirements
Relevant professional diploma or qualification from a recognized educational institution.
Minimum 4 years of experience in a high-quality hospitality environment, such as a luxury restaurant, hotel or cruise ship, with exposure to different catering styles, including à la carte and buffet.
Strong knowledge of bakery production, preparation and presentation, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
Good command of the English language.
