Position: Pod lead - Chemical Engineering
Type: Short-term contract
Compensation: $20/hr
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Start Date: Immediately
Role Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a pod of technical trainers, ensuring consistent quality and productivity.
Review engineering tasks for technical accuracy and reproducibility.
Validate tasks involving reaction engineering, thermodynamics, and process simulation.
Ensure tasks reflect realistic chemical engineering workflows.
Provide clear technical feedback and track revisions.
Requirements
Ph.D., postdoctoral experience, or equivalent advanced technical experience in Chemical Engineering.
Strong programming skills in Python, Julia, C/C++, or MATLAB/Octave.
Hands-on expertise in process modeling, reaction kinetics, or thermodynamic modeling.
Strong understanding of chemical engineering fundamentals and computational modeling.
Experience reviewing complex technical work and chemical process simulations.
