Broad outline of the Role
The role is responsible for cloud services software development involving development, production rollouts and lifecycle management.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Graduation in Engineering or equivalent practical experience
4 Years experience in software development
Proficiency with Go (Golang)
Experience with writing Kubernetes operators/controllers
Experience with cloud-native observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Cortex, VictoriaMetrics
Experience with IAM solutions through tools like Keycloak
Other Knowledge & Skills
Experience with OTEL will be preferred
Experience with kubernetes-sigs/cluster-api will be preferred
Experience with DBs or Caching Services or Messaging Queues or Serverless Services will be preferred
Experience with cloud-native eBPF tools will be preferred.
Basic Proficiency with Rust and Python.
Experience with AI tooling and a genuine enthusiasm for applying it to complex problems
Enthusiasm to work closely with the Product team and customers to launch new features
Strong communication skills, proficiency in English, ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and seek help proactively when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Own features end-to-end. From design through implementation, rollout, and iteration in close partnership with Product and our Experience (front-end) team.
Navigate ambiguous problems and find a clear path forward. You take initiative rather than waiting for complete specs.
Extend Kubernetes using CRDs and Operators/Controller with industry standard API Contracts, scalability and observability
Work closely with Vayu Cloud's Kubernetes-as-a-service
Work closely with Vayu Cloud's Devops Suite involving Container Registry, CICD Services, Secret Manager, KMS, Functions.
Work closely with Cloud Networking, Storage and virtualization layer like Openstack
