Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Full Stack Engineer. The Full Stack Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable web applications that power Bytescare’s brand protection and threat detection platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing backend services and APIs, implementing responsive frontend interfaces, integrating data sources and third-party services, and ensuring application reliability, performance, and security. The role also involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to refine requirements, participate in code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of the engineering stack and processes. The engineer will help translate complex brand protection workflows into robust, user-friendly solutions that operate at global scale.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Back-End Web Development skills, including building secure, scalable APIs and services.
Candidates should possess solid Front-End Development skills, including proficiency in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and modern JavaScript frameworks.
Candidates should possess experience in Full-Stack Development and general Software Development, working across the entire application lifecycle.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure), relational and NoSQL databases, and containerization tools is beneficial.
Strong problem-solving abilities, clean coding practices, and familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) are expected.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team, communicate clearly, and collaborate across functions is required.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
Experience in security, fraud detection, or brand protection domains is a plus.
