Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Quality Assurance Engineer. The Quality Assurance Engineer will design, develop, and execute test cases to validate product features, performance, and security across Bytescare’s brand protection solutions. Responsibilities include performing manual testing, documenting defects, collaborating closely with developers and product managers to clarify requirements, and ensuring issues are resolved before release. The role also involves maintaining test documentation, contributing to test plans and regression suites, and continuously improving QA processes and standards. The engineer will work with cross-functional teams to uphold high-quality releases that align with Bytescare’s reliability, accuracy, and scalability goals.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, with a solid understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
Candidates should possess practical experience in Manual Testing and Test Execution, including executing test plans and reporting results clearly.
Candidates should possess the ability to design and maintain effective Test Cases, covering functional, regression, and edge scenarios.
Candidates should possess familiarity with bug tracking tools and test management systems, and be comfortable working in an agile environment.
Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on product reliability.
Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear collaboration with engineering and product teams.
Experience with automation testing tools, scripting languages, or API testing is beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
