Watson Refrigeration is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support our accounting operations. This is a hands-on role focused on processing invoices, coordinating vendor payments, maintaining accurate records, and resolving discrepancies.
This position must work in our Raleigh office. Remote work is not available.
What You’ll Do
Review, enter, and process vendor invoices accurately and promptly.
Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation.
Research and resolve discrepancies involving invoices, purchase orders, and payments.
Prepare and process vendor payments according to established procedures.
Communicate with vendors about invoice questions, payment status, and account discrepancies.
Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding items.
Maintain organized accounts payable records and supporting documentation.
Work with internal teams to obtain approvals and resolve missing or incorrect information.
Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Previous accounts payable or related accounting experience.
Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Clear communication skills and a professional approach to vendor relationships.
Comfort working with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
BuildOps experience is a plus, but not required.
Ability to work on-site in our Raleigh office.
