About the Opportunity:
The SENIOR | STAFF PRODUCT ENGINEER role involves working hands-on across the full technology stack to design, build, and modernize digital and operational systems within the organization’s portfolio. This position contributes by developing integrated solutions that enhance both customer-facing experiences and internal business operations, with an emphasis on AI-driven development and scalable architecture.
Responsibilities:
Develop end-to-end features including front end, back end, APIs, business logic, and data layers.
Design and implement integration across brands, applications, and enterprise tools, ensuring security and compliance.
Translate ambiguous requirements into clear technical plans and manageable units of work.
Employ AI agents to support research, prototyping, implementation, testing, refactoring, and documentation.
Influence architectural decisions and technology choices to support business scalability.
Establish and improve AI development practices, tools, and workflows.
Maintain and enhance codebases with testing, monitoring, documentation, and scalable architecture.
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams for requirement clarification, code reviews, pairing, onboarding, and mentorship.
Requirements:
Minimum of 6 years engineering production software for Senior level or 9 years with cross-system architecture ownership for Staff level.
Proficient with relational data systems including SQL and modern data platforms.
Commitment to quality and security including testing, accessibility, input validation, authentication, and web security.
Experience effectively using AI agents for complex tasks with clear specifications and verification.
Product engineering mindset, focusing on problem-solving and asking "why" before "how."
Ability to make durable, maintainable technical decisions favoring simplicity.
Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, including mentoring.
Leadership experience in technical scoping, guiding engineers, and managing external collaboration; Staff level includes multi-system architecture ownership.
Continuous learning and evaluation of emerging tools and practices based on long-term sustainability.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
