Job Family Definition:
Students or recent graduates of college, university, or other accredited academic programs, pursuing diplomas or degrees (Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) in any field. Assists in various tasks aligned with their field of study, including research, collaboration on team initiatives and projects, problem-solving, and creative thinking to gain hands-on experience and develop professional skills. Includes internships, research roles, visiting scholar positions, or other program-related opportunities.
Responsibilities
· Support Pre-Sales Systems Engineers in customer-facing opportunities and technical projects.
Assist with researching customer requirements, business challenges, and industry trends.
Participate in solution design activities and help align technology solutions with customer needs.
Support the preparation of technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept environments.
Learn and assist with the configuration, testing, and validation of networking, security, cloud, or infrastructure solutions.
Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams to support customer engagements and strategic initiatives.
Develop an understanding of the company's technology portfolio, competitive landscape, and market positioning.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and technical workshops while contributing ideas and insights.
Document findings, technical recommendations, and project progress for internal and customer stakeholders.
Seek feedback regularly and apply learning to continuously develop both technical and customer-facing skills.
Education & Experience
· Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Basic understanding of networking, cloud computing, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT technologies.
Previous coursework, projects, or laboratory experience related to technology solutions is desirable.
Experience with customer-facing activities, presentations, or team projects is beneficial but not required.
Participation in technical clubs, hackathons, cybersecurity competitions, or academic research projects is advantageous.
Knowledge & Skills
· Foundational knowledge of networking concepts, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, or enterprise infrastructure.
Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar technologies is advantageous.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Interest in technology consulting, solution architecture, and technical sales.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and customer-focused environments.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take initiative in a fast-paced technology environment.
Collaborative mindset with a focus on delivering value to customers and partners.

Impact/Scope:
University students actively enrolled in a university/college/institution pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a technical area of study, and who typically works during school breaks and then returns to their university. While this applies to most interns, there may be opportunities for full-time students to work as part-time interns during the school year in some countries.
