Senior Quality Engineer

Position Responsibilities:
Reviews and translates requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide meaningful feedback to product developers
Creates, maintains and executes automation test scripts
Analyzes automation results and investigate failures
Designs detailed and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
Identifies KPIs for product quality
Tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities, defect frequency first time pass rate
Keeps up-to-date on latest test software and frameworks
Drives software development process to quality-centric methodologies
Identifies Quality Assurance process bottlenecks and design and implement solutions
Controls, updates and distributes new and revised quality standards and technical changes
Prepares and deliver formal quality audit reportsKnowledge & skillsExpert in software quality assurance
Expert in writing broad test plans and test cases
Expert in Cucumber, Selenium and open-source testing frameworks
Expert in different testing techniques i.e. UI testing, Automated testing; familiar with behaviour driven testingCollaborative attitude, willingness to work with team members; able to coach, participate in code reviews, share skills and methodsConstantly learns from both success and failure
Good verbal and written communication; effectively articulates technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes
Good organizational and problem-solving abilities that enable you to manage through creative abrasion
Experiments with emerging technologies and understanding how they will impact what comes next
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of Quality Engineering experience
At least 5 years of experience in Automation Testing
At least 2 years of experience in Playwright
Experience in Selenium
Preferred Qualifications:
Test Automation Framework experience
