Junior Project Management Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain project schedules, timelines, and progress trackers using Microsoft Project (MS Project).
Assist in project planning, resource allocation, milestone tracking, and deadline monitoring.
Coordinate with engineering, design, procurement, production, quality, and site execution teams.
Track engineering deliverables, material procurement, manufacturing progress, and project documentation.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports for management review.
Monitor project milestones and identify schedule deviations, delays, and potential bottlenecks.
Follow up with internal departments and vendors to ensure timely completion of project activities.
Maintain project records, drawings, technical documents, MOMs, and action trackers.
Support preparation of project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), Gantt charts, and look-ahead schedules.
Assist in tracking project costs, material requirements, and delivery commitments.
Ensure proper document control and compliance with project specifications and customer requirements.
Support project managers in administrative and coordination activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
2–4 years of relevant experience in project coordination, project planning, or project management within the water treatment, wastewater treatment, process equipment, or manufacturing industry.
Working knowledge of MS Project is mandatory.
Good understanding of project scheduling, Gantt charts, milestones, dependencies, and progress tracking.
Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment, fabrication, piping, pumps, tanks, and industrial systems.
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong coordination, follow-up, documentation, and reporting skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
