Role Description The DevOps Engineer (2–4 years) will work on designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and deployment pipelines that support Skeps’ POS financing platforms. This full-time, on-site role in Gurgaon involves managing CI/CD workflows, automating infrastructure provisioning, and ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable environments. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with software development teams to streamline builds and releases, performing system administration tasks in Linux-based environments, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting production issues. The role also requires maintaining documentation, improving operational processes, and contributing to best practices in DevOps and cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications
Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar solutions.
Hands-on Software Development skills in at least one modern language (e.g., Python, Java, Go) for automation and tooling.
Experience with Continuous Integration and deployment pipelines using platforms like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar.
Solid System Administration background, including Linux server management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stack) and basic networking concepts.
2–4 years of relevant DevOps, site reliability, or infrastructure engineering experience in a production environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, and commitment to secure, high-quality deployments.
