Picasso Restaurant Group is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and motivated Prep Cook to join our team at the University of Michigan–Flint!
We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in food quality, and works well with others.
Responsibilities
Prepare fresh ingredients, including washing, chopping, slicing, and portioning food.
Assist with daily food preparation for café service.
Follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality.
Keep prep stations clean, organized, and properly stocked.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food storage procedures.
Assist kitchen staff with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred.
Strong knife skills and basic food preparation knowledge.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Dependable, punctual, and a team player.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
