SALARY RANGE: The anticipated salary range for this role is $66,000 to $89,000 annually. This range reflects a good faith estimate based on the targeted level for the role and typical compensation benchmarks across U.S. locations. Actual compensation may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications, experience, geographical location, and internal alignment.
SUMMARY
Redwire is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented UAS Logistics Coordinator to support the operational readiness, lifecycle management, and logistical coordination of Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) and associated support equipment. This role serves as a key link between flight operations, maintenance, logistics, and compliance functions to ensure UAS assets remain mission-ready, properly maintained, and fully accountable throughout their lifecycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties.
Maintain accurate, real-time records for UAS platforms, payloads, batteries, ground control stations, support equipment, and spare parts.
Manage the complete asset lifecycle from acquisition through deployment, maintenance, storage, transfer, and retirement.
Conduct inventory audits, reporting, procurement, shipping, receiving, and transportation activities.
Coordinate deployment logistics and vendor repairs, including RMA tracking.
Support preventive maintenance programs, configuration management, and readiness tracking.
Support FAA Part 107 compliance, audits, battery safety programs, and SOP adherence.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required.
3-5 years of experience in UAS operations, aviation logistics, maintenance coordination, or asset management.
Working knowledge of UAS platforms, payloads, batteries, communications equipment, and ground control systems.
Experience with inventory control, asset management, or maintenance tracking systems.
Familiarity with FAA regulations and aviation safety principles.
Hands on maintenance/tooling experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related field.
