About us:
Trinity Mobile App Lab’s motto is to Help businesses go mobile.
Trinity Mobile Lab is a Software Company engaged in developing end-to-end web and mobile based solutions serving Android and iOS platforms since 2013. As an expert mobile solution developer, the company architects web and mobile solutions and applications that help businesses grow primarily start-ups looking to build a tech-enabled business, medium and large brands looking for innovative mobile solutions to meet their business requirements. The company offers a full spectrum of IT application services such as doing need-gap analysis, concept development, digital marketing, design, development, and offering customised application-based IT support services.
Founded by Ayush Agarwal in 2013, he cites that the focus of Trinity is to understand the challenges being faced by the customers in today’s hyper-competitive scenario, their dynamic requirements and then offering them innovative mobile solutions based on the cutting-edge technology and process automation which can help them to succeed and delight their customers.
About the Product:
Soul Home is a spatial analysis platform that captures a user’s home in 3D — via LiDAR (iPhone Pro), ARCore depth (certified Android), or guided photo capture (fallback tier) — and runs the resulting spatial model through a deterministic rule engine built on classical Vastu Shastra and Feng Shui doctrine. The 3D capture layer you will own is the foundation of the entire product: every downstream analysis depends on an accurate, correctly oriented model of the user’s space.
Role Overview:
You will design and build the native 3D capture experience on both iOS and Android, plus the cross-platform app shell that hosts it. This is not an “AR filters” role. It is a spatial computing role: room-scale scanning, mesh generation, coordinate systems, compass-anchored orientation, and structured export of walls, doors, windows, and objects into a format a rule engine can consume.
Core Responsibilities
Build the iOS LiDAR capture tier using ARKit scene reconstruction and Apple RoomPlan, producing parametric room models (walls, openings, dimensions) and USDZ/glTF exports
Build the Android ARCore capture tier using the Depth API / Raw Depth API, accumulating depth frames into usable meshes, with capture UX that adapts to widely varying device depth quality
Implement magnetic/true north binding so every captured model carries reliable absolute orientation (this is a hard product requirement — directional analysis fails without it)
Design the guided capture UX for both tiers: coverage feedback, tracking-loss recovery, rescan flows, room-size limits, multi-room stitching
Build the app shell (Flutter or React Native, or native twins — you will help make this call) with native modules bridging to the AR capture layers
Define the scan artifact contract (mesh + parametric layout + orientation metadata + detected-object anchors) handed to the backend processing pipeline
Handle offline-first capture with deferred upload; ship and maintain both apps through Play Store and App Store release cycles
Must-Have Skills
Mobile & Languages
4+ years mobile development with strong Swift AND Kotlin (we will test both)
Xcode and Android Studio proficiency, including profiling tools (Instruments, Android Profiler)
Native module / platform channel bridging from Flutter or React Native
Full store deployment experience on both platforms: signing, provisioning, review cycles, staged rollouts
AR & 3D (the core of this role)
Shipped at least one production app using ARKit or ARCore beyond marker/plane demos — depth, meshing, or scene reconstruction
Solid 3D math fundamentals: transforms, quaternions, coordinate spaces, projection
Clear working understanding of meshes vs point clouds and when each applies
Hands-on with RealityKit/SceneKit (iOS) and Filament or SceneView (Android)
3D formats: glTF/GLB, USDZ, OBJ, PLY — including conversion and export pipelines
Camera, IMU, and magnetometer sensor APIs; practical understanding of compass calibration and magnetic declination
Engineering Practice
Git, code review discipline, and CI/CD for mobile (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, or equivalent)
REST/JSON API integration, background upload, and offline-first data handling
Ability to write and work from formal specs (our modules are spec-documented before implementation)
Clear written and verbal communication in English; comfortable working directly with a founder as sole domain authority
Good-to-Have Skills
Apple RoomPlan experience, including its multi-room and room-size limitations
On-device mesh processing (Metal or NDK), mesh decimation, plane fitting
Experience integrating object detection output (e.g., YOLO) into spatial coordinates
SLAM/VIO conceptual depth: drift, relocalization, anchor stability, loop closure
Familiarity with device fragmentation strategy for ARCore-certified hardware in the Indian market
Flutter or React Native app-shell architecture at production scale
Unity or Unreal AR experience (useful background, though this role is native-first)
Basic Python for scripting scan-validation and format-conversion tooling
Experience with WebSocket or push-based job-status patterns
Prior work on measurement, scanning, real-estate, or interior-design apps
Accessibility and localization experience (the wider product ships in 12 languages)
