Job Title: Senior Backend Developer (Node.js/TypeScript)
Location: Remote (USA)
Employment Type: Contract
Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong experience in Node.js and TypeScript to build and maintain scalable cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD, and modern backend development.
Required Skills
5+ years of backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript
Experience with Git, scripting, and CI/CD pipelines
Basic frontend knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with GCP (Cloud Run preferred), AWS, or Azure
Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture
Preferred Skills
Event-driven architecture (Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firestore
Experience with ORMs (Prisma, TypeORM, Sequelize, Mongoose)
