About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Advisor: Health System Executive (CMO, CMIO, CFO, or Revenue Cycle)
Remote | Part-time | Hospitals and Health Care
Before an AI is allowed near triage in your ED, what would your clinical governance committee need to see?
Why this seat exists
V3ra is building autonomous triage for the emergency department front door, where the first 30 minutes are won or lost. Physicians stay in control, and the system is designed around that. But a good design is not a signed pilot. Between the two sit governance committees, security reviews, liability questions, and a clinical staff that has to trust it.
You've sat on the buyer's side of those decisions. We need that view while we're still pre-seed and can change course cheaply.
What's built
Autonomous ED triage under a four-level autonomy ladder, with a critical-value failsafe, physician-review audit, and a hash-chained audit log of every decision
A Physician Validation Program: board-certified emergency physicians scoring the AI's outputs across 1,100+ encounters, with injected negative controls so the scoring stays honest
Chart audit and billing validation against 238,098 CMS codes, our lead pilot offer
Epic FHIR R4 live
HIPAA and SOC 2 work in progress, FDA documentation underway
The questions we want your answer to
What evidence does a clinical governance committee need before approving AI that touches triage? Who has to sign?
Would you want it to run in shadow mode before it touches a live workflow? For how long?
Which ED metrics move a CFO and a CMO, and which ones do they ignore?
Where do pilots stall inside a health system: security review, legal, clinical champions, or budget?
How do nurses and ED physicians actually decide to trust a tool like this?
