Role Description The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project lifecycle activities for drone manufacturing and deployment initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This full-time, on-site role based in Chennai involves planning project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing resources to support production, logistics, and client delivery. The Project Manager will track project milestones, identify risks, implement corrective actions, and maintain clear documentation and reporting for internal stakeholders and external clients. Daily responsibilities include aligning project requirements with operational capabilities, driving process improvements, managing vendor and supplier coordination, and supporting inspections and compliance activities. The role also requires regular collaboration with engineering, logistics, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution of projects and high levels of client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Candidates should possess Expeditor and Expediting skills to monitor order status, follow up with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
Candidates should possess Inspection-related skills to coordinate quality checks, verify compliance with standards, and support audits of manufactured products.
Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to oversee material flow, inventory coordination, and dispatch activities aligned with project timelines.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, or a related field are preferred.
Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, drone technology, or a similar industrial environment is an advantage.
Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and proficiency with project management tools and MS Office are beneficial.
Ability to work on-site in Chennai, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
